Bachelor of Nursing
The Bachelor of Nursing program from RMIT University has been approved by the Singapore Nursing Board as a course of study for Registered Nurses.
It is a 18-month course held fully in Singapore and applicants need to fulfill these requirements:
• A Diploma in Nursing from Nanyang Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic or equivalent
• Current employment as a registered nurse in a healthcare institution in Singapore
• At least one year post-registration nursing experience
• Foreign registered nurses will be assessed on a case-to-case basis. Selection for the programme is undertaken by RMIT
University program directors
• IELTS 6.5 or successful completion of their higher qualifications in English
The Bachelor of Nursing ( Advanced Standing) includes the following seven theory and one Learner Centred Learning Modules:
- Holistic Health Assessment
- Patient and Family Teaching
- Development and Application of Nursing Knowledge
- Professional Studies 1
- Professional Studies 2
- Management and Leadership for Nurses
- Pharmacology in Nursing
- Learner Centred Learning 1 ( Critical Reflective Journaling and Dialogue)
