Application Procedures

Foreign Students

To apply for a programme, follow the procedures below:

1.       Complete the Student Application Form

2.        Submit an interview fee of S$100.00 + 7% GST together with your application form and required documents stated below for assessment and interview. Payment can be made via cheque, bank draft or telegraphic transfer. Cheque and bank draft to be made payable to ‘HMI Education Pte Ltd'. Telegraphic transfer can be credited into Maybank account at 7302-04010643710.

  • Zhong Zhuan Certificate & Transcript
  • Da Zhuan Certificate & Transcript
  • Degree Certificate & Transcript (where applicable)
  • Registered Nurse Certificate
  • Practicing Nurse Certificate ( impt : current registration )

•  Photocopies to be submitted ahead of time

•  Originals to be shown on the day of interview
If the original is not in English, translated copy will be required.

3.       Upon approval of your application, you will receive a Letter of Offer from HMI-IHS to confirm your place in the course applied for.

4.       Submit an application fee of S$500.00 + 7% GST. Payment can be made via cheque, bank draft or telegraphic transfer. Cheque and bank draft to be made payable to ‘HMI Education Pte Ltd'. Telegraphic transfer can be credited into Maybank account at 7302-04010643710.

5.       Thereafter, you will need to prepare the following documents for application of student pass to Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA). You may send them to us at HMI Institute of Health Sciences. 167 Jalan Bukit Merah, Tower 5 #05-10 Singapore 150167.

  • Medical Report (Later stage)

 

 

6. Upon receipt of the documents, HMI-IHS will add on Form V36A, Local Sponsor's Identity Card and Course Schedule and submit the application to ICA . You will receive a confirmation letter from the School when we receive approval from ICA .

7. With the confirmation letter, you will make FULL PAYMENT of course fees to us as invoiced, and a visa will be sent to you for entry into Singapore once the fees are received by the School.

Payment Modes:

Student may pay their fees through the following methods:

•  Cashier's order or Bank draft only

•  Telegraphic Transfers

•  Credit Cards - Visa and Master cards (only for local transactions)

Note: All payment to be made payable to “HMI Education Pte Ltd”.

8.  You are required to be registered with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB). Upon receiving document a) from us, you need to complete it and mail it together with document b) back to us with a registration fee of S$130.

a) APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION TO THE REGISTER OR ROLL UNDER SECTION 14

b) Work Testimonial

Documents c.) and d.) must be sent directly from China to Singapore Nursing Board 16 College Road #01-01, College of Medicine Building, Singapore 169854

c.) Verification of Nursing Education (ie, name of course taken, results, year graduated)

d.) Verification of registration/enrolment from Bureau of Health

Singaporean/PR Students

To apply for a programme, follow the procedures below:

1.              Complete the Vocational Course Application Form

2.              Submit completed form in person with the following documents to: Office of Admissions, HMI Institute of Health Sciences. 167 Jalan Bukit Merah, Tower 5 #05-10 Singapore 150167

-         NRIC photocopy and original

-         Academic Certificate photocopy and original

-         2 passport photographs
